What Fans Truly Mean to Michael Jackson

This is not just another video showing an enthralling live performance of MJ. In 1996, Michale Jackson, during his Dangerous world tour, performed in Moscow in front of his fans braving a hostile weather that literally wreaked havoc with freezing cold plus a bit of rain. This rare video showcases the tremendous will power Michael Jackson had to perform and his unfathomable love towards his fans around the world. Check this out and feel free to leave your comments….

Nuff respect to my brother….long live, Michael!!!

What's in Your Bagpack?

How much does your life weigh? Imagine for a second that you’re carrying a backpack. I want you to feel the straps on your shoulders. Feel them? Now I want you to pack it with all the stuff that you have in your life. You start with the little things, the things on shelves and in drawers, the knickknacks, the collectibles. Feel the weight as that adds up. Then you start adding larger stuff, clothes, tabletop appliances, lamps, linens, your TV. The backpack should be getting pretty heavy now. And you go bigger. Your couch, bed, your kitchen table. Stuff it all in there. Your car, get it in there. Your home, whether it’s a studio apartment or a two-bedroom house, I want you to stuff it all into that backpack. Now try to walk. It’s kind of hard, isn’t it?

This is what we do to ourselves on a daily basis. We weigh ourselves down until we can’t even move. And make no mistake, moving is living. Now, I’m gonna set that backpack on fire. What do you want to take out of it? Photos? Photos are for people who can’t remember. Drink some ginkgo and let the photos burn. In fact, let everything burn and imagine waking up tomorrow with nothing. It’s kind of exhilarating, isn’t it?

What Sort of Friendship is It Anyway?

In theory, friendship is a beautiful bond between two people, which transcends age, gender, race, religion, caste, color and everything else we could possibly imagine. So, unsurprisingly, many find friendship a safe haven or starting point to nurture a secret desire. There is no dearth of instances around us that speak volumes of the fact that friendship is the biggest (e)scapegoat or the ultimate fall guy we resort to when a relationship that we always wanted never materialize.

Whether movies reflect the social scenario, or the other way round, we never seem to run out of the ideas to start a “Friendship” with someone we like. Contrast to the conventional methods of initiating a friendship, we now log on to Orkut or Facebook in a bid to lay the friendship foundation. It is easy to lose count of many that spend hours to get close to the people they want to. For a starter, they send friendship requests, followed by scraps, an invitation to online chat and then cell phone. Well, strangely, the whole process appears to be an extremely foolproof approach. To support this revolution and cash in on this trend, the mobile phone network service providers have almost cleverly introduced many packages tailor-made to the needs of blossoming friendship across the country. Needless to say, much of their revenues are generated by the consumer segments that can, apparently, move mountains to foster their friendship.

Sharing of cell phone numbers and even harnessing on wrong numbers are some of the other bizarre techniques of developing friendships that we know of in the modern times. And, in fact, we have seen the rate of friendship hitting an unprecedented new high in the past ten years, which can easily be attributed the cell phone revolution. We may not have the statistics to confirm any number yet, but don’t be dumbfounded if you find one soon.

Just come to think of it- if the number of friendships is growing at an astronomical proportion by the day, then why on earth have we not witnessed a similar improvement in the behavioral patterns of the so-called educated & civilized people who live in our society? We still live in a society that is infested by selfish people corrupted by unethical practices and seething with jealously at other’s prosperity. Or, those ostensibly smart professionals that are keen on being friends with others, rarely care about their social responsibilities and seldom make any sincere effort to create an environment of love, peace and co-operation around them.

Get up in the morning, step out of your house and look around yourself – you will find blood-suckers, waiting to pounce on easy prays and ready to prosper at others expense. It goes without saying who the blood-suckers are – many of them live with us, live within us, and maybe a part of our genealogy. But do we care? We are just too busy in getting along with people across the social networking sites to foster our so-called selfish relationships under the guise of “Frienship”!!!

Welcome to the world of competition! Just make sure you keep your character, ethics and virginity intact!

Planet Earth, My Sweetheart! I Love You!!!

Planet Earth, Michael Jackson

Planet Earth, I Love You!

Planet Earth! My home, my place
A capricious anomaly in the sea of space
Planet Earth! Are you just floating by, a cloud of dust
A minor globe, about to bust, a piece of metal bound to rust
A speck of matter in a mindless void
A lonely spacship, a large asteroid

Cold as a rock without a hue
Held together with a bit of glue
Something tells me this isn’t true
You are my sweetheart, soft and blue

Do you care, have you a part
In the deepest emotions of my own heart
Tender with breezes caressing and whole
Alive with music, haunting my soul

In my veins, I’ve felt the mystery
Of corridors of time, books of hisotry
Life songs of ages throbbing in my blood
Have danced the rhythm of the tide and flood

Your misty clouds, your electric storm
Were turbulent tempests in my own form
I’ve licked the salt, the bitter, the sweet
Of every encounter, of passion, of heat

Your riotous color, your fragrance, your taste
Have thrilled my senses beyond all haste
In your beauty, I’ve known the how
Of timeless bliss, this moment of now

Planet Earth! Are you just floating by, a cloud of dust
A minor globe, about to bust
A piece of metal bound to rust
A speck of matter in a mindless void
A lonely spacship, a large asteroid

Cold as a rock without a hue
Held together with a bit of glue
Something tells me this isn’t true
You are my sweetheart, gentle and blue

Do you care, have you a part
In the deepest emotions of my own heart
Tender with breezes caressing and whole
Alive with music, haunting my soul.
Planet Earth, gentle and blue
With all my heart, I love you!
