Technology, as we believe, has transformed the way we live our life today. It has made life easier, brought people closer (and how!) and created more business opportunities for many over the years. On the flip side, the proliferation of technologies has also triggered serious ramifications in terms of pollutions and global warming.
Being an ardent supporter of Green Peace movement, at times, I cringe at the way I contribute to the global warming everyday. However, tied up with my professional compulsions, I can only think of pursuing an alternative therapy for our ailing mother planet that I care so much about.
It is rightly said, that a great deed begins with a great piece of thought, and I quite agree with it. In fact, I would also go one step further and say it’s also true the other way round – a piece of noble thought begets a big revolution. Whether you’re a software professional or online marketer, in several ways, you can make a difference to the world we live in. But, for now, I wouldn’t delve into the details of tips and tricks going green, but I’d just offer you a link that has some nice green tips which we can perfectly accept and translate into actions in our day to day life.
I’ve committed myself to many changes in my workplace which has raised the hackles of my colleagues time and again. Be it switching off the electrical equipments when not in use, or advocating against the use of AC, people see red when I go green. Worse, I have been branded weirdo for my radical thoughts.
However, I am happy that a few of my friends understand me pretty well. I am also planning to build a community where I can invite and meet local people who share similar thoughts as I do. Our motto behind Top League Technologies is not just making our ends meet but to support the social causes and join green initiatives from time to time. Just the other day, I was chatting with a friend of mine who cracked our initiative code quite easily. Here is what she says about the tag line (I’m just an employee of my own myth) we have used in our website:
“The tag line is a reflection of your thought and your passion i.e helping people to live up to/ realize their passion: content writing is mere a medium, helping people to see the view of world through enriched content. Moreover, your tag line says you are here for promoting your good thoughts, so basically you are an employee of your own myth i.e your own concept, i.e your own thought process.”
Now, isn’t that brilliant!
Thanks buddy- for sharing your insights!
